Care For Your Fair Trade Products
Almost all of our products are made by hand. This gives each product a lovely human touch, and each one is the proud creation of an artisan. With proper care, these products will last a very long time.
Hand woven products
We recommend hand wash for all hand woven products. They took artisans a very time to make, and they are of exceptional qualities. We believe that they deserve a little extra care, what do you think?
Naturally dyed products
Natural dyes are great for the environment as well as your skin. However, they do require a little extra care, because they aren't as colour-fast as the synthetic dyes. We recommend cold water hand wash to minimise bleeding.

Recycled aluminium products
Aluminium has similar appearance to silver, and it can remain shinny for many years. Avoid contact with corrosive or acidic materials. Avoid contact with harmful dishwashing liquids and detergents. Use warm water to clean, thoroughly rinse and wipe dry.

Brass has a similar appearance to gold, and it can remain shinny for many years. Avoid contact with corrosive or acidic materials. Avoid contact with harmful dishwashing liquids and detergents. Use a mild liquid soap and warm water to clean, thoroughly rinse and wipe dry.

Wool felt products
Wool felt is naturally dirt and odour repellent, so you will find that you rarely need to wash it. A quick shake and air out will normally be enough. However, if you really need to wash it, please use luke-warm water with a little wool wash liquid or mild shampoo, gently massage the item and very gently wring out the water. Pull back into shape and leave to dry naturally, flat if possible.
Silk products
We recommend hand wash for delicate silk products. Use luke warm water and a mild detergent or shampoo. Avoid soaking for longer than a few minutes. Roll in towel to extract water. If you have to use machine wash, please choose the shortest spin cycle and always separate your colours.
T-shirts
We recommend cold water hand wash or wash separately for the first few times.
