Beneficiary Stories
New Sadle has many sad and heartening stories of beneficiaries. For instance, there is a lady known as "Tiger Lady" the real name however, is Kali Maya. Tiger lady when diagnosed as leprosy was kicked out of home and taken to a jungle by her own husband and sons with only a sack of rice to live forever. In her search for a shelter she roamed around jungle and finally found a "den" as her new home. As the darkness grew a tiger with 2 cubs approached the den and upon seeing a stranger occupying their den left the area quietly. Days and month passed for Kalimaya living in the den before she was finally recovered.
Eventually the villagers knew about her presence in the den and was referred to New Sadle's Sewa Kendra (a medical and elderly home unit) where she was treated and now enjoys her life as a cook. Unbelievably, she is frequently visited by her family members after a decade but Kali Maya is determined to remain in Sewa Kendra.
