We give our fair trade artisan partners considerable freedom in the design process. For example, our batik products are often made without any template, which means we sometimes don’t even know what the end product will look like! But time and time again we have been impressed with the end products, and we believe that by giving them this freedom, we are fostering creativity and self-esteem. This in turn helps them to live a dignified life, which is the mission of Oz Fair Trade. As a result, many of products are one of a kind. Once gone, it’s truly gone.
